With factory controlled density and thickness, Shockpads deliver reliable, consistent on-site impact performance every time, removing the guesswork and ensuring dependable safety underfoot.
Now one of the most widely used playground impact-attenuation solutions in Australia, Shockpads are installed beneath thousands of square metres of synthetic grass and wetpour rubber playground surfaces each year. They form the essential impact performance layer under all rubber wetpour surfaces, helping create safer, more durable play environments.
To simplify system selection, A1 Rubber provides an easy to use Critical Fall Height Graph, generated from certified test data. This graph clearly illustrates the relationship between system thickness and the required fall heights in accordance with Australian Standards.
As part of our commitment to quality and safety, all Shockpad materials undergo rigorous testing for Head Injury Criteria (HIC) and G-forces using the advanced Triax Wireless Surface Impact Tester. This ensures full compliance with AS 4422:2022, giving you complete confidence in every installation. In our commitment to this, A1 rubber will also certify the fall height compliance of installations using our Shockpads.
